Postby multipla » Mon Mar 15, 2010 7:13 pm

My done up car for sale. Asking quite a bit at RM19.9k CASH (can't get loan for car above 10yrs).

- New upholstery: seats, door panel and rear boot area
- 17" Advanti replicas
- skirting
- sika flex and sika damp soundproofing
- new Alpine USB head unit with panel fascia (from ebay)
- changed recond gearbox by emech,
- all oils were changed/flushed at emech (engine, transmission, gear, power steering, brake etc)
- new rear absorbers
- new radiator, fan and hose
- Sierra glow-ed, something like shine and shield polishing (www.sierraglow.com)

All other engine condition, can check with Chong (emech)

Need to fix these:
- engine rev by itself occasionally.
- drive shaft

Detail at this topic: http://www.italiaauto.net/viewtopic.php ... sc&start=0 or view my garage.

Reason: I still want a 156 or 147. Saw some in mudah.my

Got 2 calls and 1 email request.

Let me tell you about the one in email. I am sorry if it is any one of you in this forum, but the idea is preposterous.

The top blue font is my reply.
The bottom red font is the initial mail.

The same goes, can you pay me 30% and more monthly till the payment reached RM20,000.00...only then I pass you the car?

...for a 156. Everytime I look at one on the road I'll say to myself "why didn't I get this?". No matter which angle I look at it. it looks good.

Hi mate, I have looked at it a few times now, and after looking around, i'm satisfied with the great condition but what's your actual price for it. I love a bargain, so i would like to get it as soon as i can. I would be able to make payment through paypal, i find it the easiest way to use my credit card safely and is a safe and reliable method of payment... Let me know your price for it . I hope to hear from you soon, and i will make all transportation preparations for the it to be transported to my home in London,UK.

-Cheers-

probably more than 1 i guess....

multipla, you need to talk to customs to know what to do... check with them also if it is possible to get some of the tax back... if u change your price to GBP, it's gonna be GBP4000... i don't think anyone in the UK will pay so much for it... since it's should be damn cheap over there...

its an attempted scam... they pay you more than you asked, then ask for the cash back for the difference....have you any idea how cheap a '97 marea wagon is in the uk? the answer is, almost free no way anyone is gona bother bringing one back from malaysia.
the above post may offend, but i have nothing to gain by sucking up.

I guess It's a scam myself too. Been watching Wheeler Dealers in Astro and a Marea, I guess, can be bought less than GBP2000. Why on earth will a Brit hassle himself to buy one from Malaysia without looking at the true condition of the car.

It will also hassle myself doing all this paperwork for a mere RM20k sale. I shall not proceed though, but will be a good lesson learnt that there is such a scam going on.

It came back again the next day!

I got it tuned by a non Fiat specialist last month. He was actually an aircond guy. Just recalibrated the tuning and the problem solved!

Bro sell it quick. If you wait any longer, the price depreciates further. Next year lagi teruk.

Thinking of selling the Bravo but market price is very low for the 1.6. So I am keeping 'em.

I am located in the vicinity of Taman Megah, PJ.

The buyer is from Alor Star and will come to view and pay me the deposit next weekend. He is getting company loan (so nice,.. i mean his company).

Meanwhile, since it's still considered 'not sold' (haven't collected deposit), I am still opened for slightly better offers above RM16k.

Thanks

 you might just be right. Landcruisers are good work horse.

Well, the car is still 'unsold'. The prospective buyer gave me an offer and will come to KL to view it and pay me the deposit next Friday. Fingers crossed!

Finally, this buyer that I mentioned called again. He say he WILL take it and has even faxed me his photocopy IC for name transfer (using a runner friend of mine to do). He even gave me his fax number in order for me to fax him the Geran for his Insurance.

So next step is to go to puspakom inspection (tearing down my rear glass tint-sigh!) and my runner will need his insurance cover note to proceed.
If no hiccup occur, I'll be handling my car over to him on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, (don't shoot me for not getting an Italian), I will be gunning for either a used BMW 1 series hatch (depending on condition) or a brand new Kia Forte.

Good for u Lawrence tht u managed to sell it off. Was hoping to pick it up end of d year if still available. I missed my WFE2128. Anyway, gone case.

Yeah, psg7 is right, few months down d road u will regret NOT getting an Alfa. These cars hv souls man, believe me. They will 'get' into u once you've driven them for a time. The others can attest to this, not ?

Cheers.
